(Actually it is after midnight

And early 15 February 1946)

Dearest Darling Sweetheart:

This has certainly been a rounder of a day and I’m so tired and weary that I can hardly hold my eyes open. There wasn’t any mail for me today and again I was really disappointed.

Alrik has been around all day and I really had my hands full here at the hospital with various things. Alrik slept until almost 10 o’clock but I was up in a few minutes after 6.

About 4 o’clock this afternoon, Alrik and I left here to keep our dinner engagement with Dr. Helen Kim and Miss Duncan of UNRRA.  We certainly had a wonderful time, and I would have been so thankful to the Lord if you could have been there.

You’ll be very glad to know that Dr. Kim is flying to the States very shortly. She is to attend the International YWCA at Atlantic City, New Jersey beginning early in March. She has your address and telephone number and will call if she has time when going through Chicago.

Lover, it is so late and I’m so weary that I think I will close and try to get a little bit of sleep. God bless you richly in all things.

 Just yours in Christ’s love,

 Colossians 3:3
